Tires: High Load Capacity Tire, inflation pressures, discount tire

Barry:
I have a heavy (4,00 lb) wheeled fish house.
The 195-75-14 tires on it are not rated past 1,400 and donot support the weight safely.
Discount Tire told me there is a Yokohoma 14" tire available rated 2,500 lbs plus.

Any suggestions on this knowledge or direction to a capable tire greatly appreciated.

You have a real problem.  There are 14" tires available that have the load capacity, but they require fairly high inflation pressures and your rims have to be able to withstand that pressure and load.  Sometimes the rims are stamped with this type of information.  If they are not, and you chose to accept the risk, you will have to watch the rims for cracking in the rim flange area.
