Tires: Tires traction tread, aluminium rims, side tires

Hi Barry,

I recently purchased new tires Bridgestone Potenza RE050 installed in  17'' Aluminium rims

 Tire size 17” 215/45 VR 17
I notice that in left side tires (front &rear)
they have a green sign and the DOT indication missing
in the right side (front& rear) there is no green sign and all the indication seems correct .
Generally the marks in profile of the tyres left side / right side are dissimilar   
Is there possibility to installed incorrect?
Does that mean the traction treads are running backwards?

Dimitris,

I think it means they are mounted correctly.  But to check - look at the sidewall of the tire to see if there is an arrow.  The arrow would indicate the direction of rotation.

While you are at it, look to see if the words "THIS SIDE OUT" are there.  If they are not there then it doesn't matter which side is out.
