Used Cars: Subaru Impreza 2.5i vs Nissan Sentra, nissan sentra, subaru impreza

Question
I have been driving a Honda Civic DX Automatic Sedan for the past 12 years. After 166,000 miles it still runs great - but now I need a new car as I'm passing this one along to my daughter. I have test-driven numerous compact cars and have only found two that are comfortable and feel right and handle nicely and holds the road (you have to understand, after 12 years in the same car it's hard to get used to something new, not to mention that I even PREFER manual roll-up windows and NO features). So I'm trying to decide between the 2010 nissan sentra sedan or a 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i sedan that only has 200 miles (both automatics). The latter intrigues me because it's so different, especially here in the South where we really don't need the AWD feature because it doesn't snow, but I hear it keeps you safe in rain, too. What I need to know is, which car will give me another 166k miles worry-free like my Honda Civic has? Which has the better record of low repairs and a longer life?

Answer
You have really landed on two vehicles that are about the same, to me, the difference on which one to purchase would simply be which one would be easier to work on, in the event something did happen.
I think the Nissan would probably be more easier, but it really depends on what dealerships are more convenient for you.
