Used Cars: bought a used car, buick park ave, 1991 buick park ave

I just pulled off the lot with a used car its a 1991 buick park ave and i paid 850 for it it has onlky 87000 miles i thought that was good i only made it about 2 miles up the street and i lost all my brakes i managed to get it to midas and they said that my master cylander went now i have to pay 300 to fix this here any thing i can do as far as the dealer being responsible i have a paper from him stating that the car is in good running condition. the car was paid for by welfare to get me back and forth to work he agreed that it was reliable please help!!!!!

threatenHi Nicole, You should have turned around and taken it back to the dealer right there and then ! You should call the dealership right away and tell them what happened, talk to the manager and they should cover the cost of the master cylinder as you have a receipt from them stating the car is in good order and the same day you have a receipt from the mechanic. You MUST act fast! They will deny everything if you do not at least call them ASAP. Feel free to threaten them with the better business  (BBB) if they are not doing anything at all for you. Make sure to photo copy the receipts and keep copies on you for the car and work done incase.
