Trucking: access and parking, dublin ga, home terminal

Question
I live in Dublin,Ga.and would like to know if your home is comsidered to be an extention of the home terminal of which you run out of? If it is, can I be denied access to my home with my tractor and trailer and can I park on the street at my house for short periods to eat, shower and change clothes. I do maintenance on my truck at my home as well. Is there a law or ordinance to protect my rights since this is how I make my living? Please Advise. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Rick, Sorry, I can not give you the answer you are looking for.  To my knowledge, your "home terninal" is where you "report to duty". Some cities, I know do have local ordinances that prohibit large truck on cerain streets. You will have to check with your town, unless you have already been advised you can not park on the street at your home.  Sorry I can not be of more help.  J P Long
