Truck Repair: pulley location, power steering pump, model van

Hello, I'm replacing a 350 V8 with a 250 inline 6 in a 1978 chevy 1/2 ton pickup. I need to know where the  
a/c, power steering pump, and alternator mount up. I don't know which side they mount on the 250. A pic or diagram would be most helpful.

Hello Michael,
They can be mounted in different places, and the best place I can think of to see an assortment of different manuals with photos is the public library, in the refference section.
Look in the Mitchell, Chilton, and Motors manuals for that year model.
