Truck Repair: computer module, solenoid valve, computer module

Question
Hi Cliff,, iam having a problem with my truck, my engine is L10-350E cummins, i just park it at the end of the day and then the next morning,i try to start it,but it wo'nt start, my battery is good, the starter motor is also working good, i checked all the circuit breaker & fuses but they are all functioning good, one thing i notice, the wire from the solenoid valve of the fuel pump is not functioning even i switch the ignition on, there is no power coming out from that wire, i checked also the resistance of that wire, its still good. is it possible that the Computer Module is the one that causing this trouble, because i notice that the wire from the solenoid valve is connected to the computer module,, everytime i try to crank the engine, there is a white smoke coming out from the exhaust pipe, but still wont start, i checked also the fuel lines, but there's no problem about the fuel lines, i changed also the sensors but still the same,is there any other sensors or fuses that causing this problem, i hope you could give me an idea on this troble,, thank you very much..

Answer
Possible EPS sensor(mounted under accy drive on drivers side in gear housing).Possible solenoid bad.Take wire off & check resistance.I think it should be 7-8 ohmns.Actually take the sensor out & visually check the end that goes in the housing. If the black plastic part is sticking out past the gold metal housing,it is no good.Ohmns should be 1000-2000 ohmns. The 2 outside wires are one coil & 2 inside wires is another coil.
