QuestionM11 330E in T-800 Kenworth. I have replace the #2 & #6 injector per cummins computer check. Here are the symtoms..I need help.
A. As I move into the higher gears 6-10, upon aceleration there is a stumble or strong hesitation & then it seems to smooth out. This happens most often with a trailer on as opposed to bobtail. 1-4 gears show no hesitation for most of the work day.
B. In stop & go traffic with a load it seems the idle becomes irregular & then again it starts to smooth out..recently the idle has gone down very low in rpm's in stop & go traffic.
C. Some basics information on the tractor.
Top speed has not changed
fuel mileage has not changed
oil consumption ..no change
mileage on tractor is around 457000
Any ideas would be appreciated, I am an owner operator & have not been able to do as much work because of this problem. Thank You.
Answer Fuel filter changed reguarly & FS1000 compatabile?Could be a sensor or something like that causing it.I have seen some strange things.Maybe have fuel pressure & restriction gauges hooked up when it happens to see if it is a mechanical or electrical problem.
