Vintage Cars: Engine number??, serial number chart, mafca

Question
Found an old truck frame with complete drivetrain out in the woods. The only serial number we could make out was A 3577325.  It was on the engine. Also found a serial number on the gearbox was A4514B2.  Did some research and can't find anything.  I was hoping you could help identify this vehicle for me.

Answer
Jeremy,

Here's a link to a Model A Ford Serial Number chart

My guess is this is a Model A engine, probably made in 1930. If you can send me a picture of the engine, I can let you know for sure.

If this is a Ford frame, there should be a similar number on the top of the driver's side frame rail, about where the cowl mounts. Engines were routinely changed, so relying on the engine number provides no certainty. The engines in all Model A's are interchangeable.

Hope this helps
