When you search for a car online or look for car specifications on manufacturers' websites, you do not always have the option of searching by horsepower. You usually have to narrow down the results by specifying manufacturer, model and price. However there are some websites on the Internet that let you search by horsepower as well.
Go to a website like Autos Yahoo, Cars or Super Dork.
Browse through car lists on the website. Specify horsepower under "Driving & Performance" or "Technical and Performance Requirements." You can place a checkmark against the desired option, for instance "Up to 100 hp" or "More than 200 horsepower."
Add other details, such as manufacturer, car model, price range, transmission, drive type, engine, fuel type and body style.
Submit your search requirements, and wait for the website to return the results. It will show you all the autos in its database that match your requirements.
