Suzuki Torque Specs

Suzuki started when Michio Suzuki established Suzuki Loom Works in 1909. In the 1920s, Michio Suzuki's son, Shuno Suzuki, developed a bike motor. Afterwards, the family-owned company started to produce motorcycles, marine solutions, all-terrain vehicles and automobiles. Some vehicles include Suzuki Grand Vitara, SX4 Sedan and SX4 Sportback. Each model produces its own horsepower and torque.

Suzuki Grand Vitara

  • The Grand Vitara features 2.4-liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine and five-speed transmission. The vehicle has 3.62-inch bore by a 3.54-inch stroke. The engine outputs 166 horsepower at 6000 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 162 ft.-lbs. at 4000 rpm.

Suzuki SX4 Sedan

  • Suzuki SX4 Sedan, Sedan LE and LE Anniversary Edition comes standard with a 2.0-liter 16-valve, four cylinder engine. The vehicles have a 3.31-inch by 3.54-inch stroke. The SX4 Sedan and SX4 Sedan LE feature a manual transmission. Both vehicles output 150 horsepower at 6,200 rpm. The SX4 Sedan LE Anniversary Edition vehicle has a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It reaches 148 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. All of the Suzuki SX4 trims output 140 ft.-lbs. of torque at 3,500 rpm.

Suzuki SX4 Sportback

  • The Suzuki Sportback comes with a 2.0-liter, four cylinder, 16-valve engine with 3.31-inch bore and a 3.54-inch stroke. The model has an option of a manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The vehicle with a manual transmission outputs 150 horsepower at 6,200 rpm. The vehicle with a CVT generates 148 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. Each Suzuki Sportback generates 148 ft.-lbs. at 4,000 rpm.
