The Saturn Corporation began as a subsidiary of General Motors in 1985 with its own Spring Hill, Tennessee assembly plant. General Motors discontinued the Saturn brand of vehicles in 2009 and stopped their production. Saturn's last automobiles were the 2009-year models.
