In 2009, GMAC changed its name to Ally Bank. Customers who previously financed their vehicle through GMAC will need to go through Ally Bank for all their payment needs. You can make a payment several ways through Ally including a one time online payment, recurring automatic payments or wire transfers and credit card payments over the phone. Choose the payment method that is most convenient to you to ensure you never miss a payment due date.

Call the payment center at 1-800-325-6000 to make a payment by credit card. Call 1-877-845-2642 to make a payment using a check over the phone or 1-800-926-9400 to initiate a wire transfer from your bank account to make your loan payment. You will be charged a $15 fee for making payments over the phone.
Log into your Ally Auto Finance Account to make a payment online. (See Resource 1) Go to the accounts summary section of the Ally site and choose "Make one time payment." Enter the amount of the payment and follow the system prompts to complete the payment.
Establish automatic withdrawal payments in your Ally Auto Finance Account. Schedule the date of the monthly payment and indicate which checking account should be used.
