Over the years, Airstream has partnered with a whole host of famous interior designers. Their limited edition models are a veritable who’s who of famous names.
In the latest concept trailer named, “The Sterling,” designer Christopher Deam has created a striking design that mixes a sleek aircraft feel with a 1960’s vibe.
Deam chose bright mustard yellow vinyl flooring to make the rig pop. This color was typical of the 1960s and pairs well with the sleek white upholstery and Marimekko patterned fabric. He accentuated the countertops with aluminum to tie in with the shiny interior skin.
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE Airstreams. The Airstream Sterling International trailer is available in both a 25 and 27-foot length in either mustard yellow or bright violet. This limited addition trailer was only produced in 2013 and 2014, but many used models can be found at Airstream dealers such as Colonial Airstream.
