Think you’ve seen it all? Not hardly. This new concept plane/boat/camper has to be the most unique RV we have ever featured on the RVShare blog (and that’s saying something)! The MVP Aero is promoted as the “most versatile plane,” and I believe it. The MVP looks like a water plane, which can land on water or snow as needed. Currently the MVP is still in development, but it should be released as a kit in the next few years.
Here’s how it works. First off, the MVP is actually a small plane with a retractable instrument panel. When on the water, the nose of the plane can open wide to use for fishing activities. The engine will work as a boat motor, to help you troll along to those deserted fishing coves.
Ready to sleep? No problem. The MVP Aero has a built-in tent, which covers the front of the airplane and creates a large sleeping area. Two people can easily sleep in an air mattress on the enclosed nose of the plane.
The Aero is not a toy and will require a full pilot’s license. The MVP will feature a few different engine options and when on water can cruise up to 104 knots an hour. Yes, it’s a novelty, but if you have the money, why not live the dream?
