Rear window shades for your BMW are used to keep the interior of your vehicle cool on warm summer days. You can pick up a window shade for your BMW from any local auto parts store. The rear window shade is very easy to install and the work can be completed in a matter of minutes.
Remove the rear window shade from the protective bag which it came in. Fold the shade out flat on your work space.
Enter the back seat of your BMW. Place the rear window shade flat against your rear window.
Grab the two clips at the bottom of the sun shade. You will find one clip on the far left and one on the far right. Slide the clips into the space in between the bottom frame and the glass until they clip in place.
Repeat the process for the top clips. When installing the top clips, be sure you do not pull so hard that you pull the bottom clips loose.
Exit your BMW and move to the rear of the car. Check that there are no gaps in your window shade where sunlight could get through.
