Disabling the daytime running lights on a Honda Civic SI is a very simple procedure that only requires the use of a fuse extractor tool. The procedure entails removing the fuse in cavity 37 from the fuse box located in the Civic SI's engine compartment. The entire process takes only a couple of minutes to perform.
Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and make sure the headlights and all other electrical accessories are turned off.
Open the hood and remove the cover from the fuse box.
Use the fuse extractor to remove the fuse in cavity 37. If you wish to enable the daytime running lights, simply reinstall the fuse. Close the fuse box and close the hood.
