The BMW 325i is made by the German automaker BMW, and is manufactured as part of the fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series. It is the best seller of its class and contains the world's first lightweight engine, the BMW N52B30. The BMW N52B30 belongs to the N52 engine series. It is a straight six-cylinder petrol engine made of a combination of magnesium and aluminum, very lightweight materials. The straight six-cylinder design helps to reduce the engine vibration that occurs in V6 and inline four-cylinder engines. It also includes an electric water pump and the BMW featured Valvetronic system. The engine has a large power output, capable of 225 kW, or 306 hp, on command.
BMWs are considered the ultimate power cars, and when not used to their potential, they can malfunction. The engine needs to be exercised regularly in order to charge the battery, replenishing the significant amount of power drainage required to run the car's higher capacity.
