The spark plugs on your Dodge Magnum should be checked and replaced every 30,000 miles. Fouled spark plugs can make it hard to start your engine, can cause your Magnum to stall and it will cause misfiring due to the high compression engine of the Magnum. To correct these problems, you'll need to replace the plugs. Replacement plugs are available from most auto parts stores.
Open the hood and pull up on the spark plug wire to remove it from the top of the engine.
Connect the plug socket to the socket extension and connect the extension to the socket wrench.
Slide the socket wrench down into the plug well and slide the socket over the top of the spark plug. The rubberized interior of the plug socket will grab and hold onto the plug.
Turn the plug counterclockwise and pull it out of the plug well with the socket wrench, extension and spark plug socket.
