The tires on an all-wheel-drive KIA Sorento will wear out over time. The time it takes for the tread to wear down to the tread-wear markers will vary by tire design and the composition of the tire compound. When the tires are ready to be replaced, you can usually do this yourself, provided you have new tires already mounted for you from a tire shop.
Break the lug nuts loose on all of the wheels by turning them 1/4 turn counterclockwise with a tire wrench.
Jack up the front and rear of the vehicle and put the Kia Sorento on jack stands. Locate the front jack point. It will be near the radiator and is an extension of the frame. Jack up on the front jack point. Locate the front pinch welds. These will be directly under the driver and passenger-side front doors. Place the jack stands under the pinch welds and lower the vehicle onto the stands. Jack up the Sorento using the rear jack point located near the trunk. Locate the rear pinch welds and place jack stands under them. Lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.
Continue to remove the lug nuts with the tire wrench.
Pull the wheel straight off the wheel hub assembly. If you do not have a new wheel and tire mounted and balanced, you'll need to remove all of your wheels off of the vehicle and take them to a tire shop to have this done for you.
Slide the newly mounted and balanced wheel/tire over the wheel studs on the wheel hub assembly. Tighten the lug nuts down on the wheel studs.
Lower both ends of the Sorento to the ground and torque the lug nuts to 100 pound-feet with a torque wrench.
