How to Preset a Radio Station in a 2007 Dodge Charger

The 2007 Dodge Charger's radio has a unique preset option. Instead of being able to program only six preset stations per band, you can program up to 12 per band, for a total of 36 presets. Saving your favorite radio stations to your preset memory allows you to access the stations with ease. The 2007 Dodge Charger was available with either a single-disc CD player or a six-disc CD changer; some models are equipped with satellite radio. The process for setting your presets in the same in each radio.

  • Select the band you want to save a preset for (AM, FM or satellite). Turn the "Tune" knob to set the radio to the desired station.

  • Press the "Rnd/Set" button on your radio faceplate.

  • Press the preset button (buttons one through six) you want to save the station to within five seconds of pressing "Rnd/Set."

  • Repeat the process to store up to 12 preset radio stations per band. You can assign up to two radio stations to one preset button.
