Static-cling decals are perfect for displaying seasonal decals in the windows of your house or car. You don't have to worry about leftover adhesive on the glass, and you can use them over and over. But when the decals have been stored in a box for a year, they sometimes lose their "cling" and no longer stick to windows. Follow a few easy tips to reactivate your static-cling decals so you don't have to buy replacements.
Rinse the decals under cool water. Do not scrub them--this could tear the decals. After a good rinse, the static cling will be recharged.
Save the plastic backing paper that the decals came with. Place the decals on the backing paper when not in use.
Store the decals in a cool, dry place. This will keep them like new.
