  • Replacement bulb
  • Open the hood, and remove the two bolts holding the headlight assembly in place. The bolts are located on the upper fender reinforcement bar.

  • Open the fender panel access door, located in the wheel well. If you have a hard time reaching, try turning the wheels on your Durango to give yourself more room. Remove the single nut inside the panel.

  • Grab the headlight, and pull it out of the front fender.

  • Remove the connectors on the headlight. Pull the red release tab, followed by the black and green release tabs.

  • Twist the socket to unlock it from the lamp assembly. Pull the socket out of the assembly. Pull the bulb out of the socket.

  • Push a new bulb into the socket, and slide the socket into the lamp assembly. Twist the socket to lock it in place. Replace the connectors, and press the tabs down to lock them in place.

  • Slide the headlight back into the fender. Replace the nut inside the wheel well access panel, and close the panel. Replace the bolts on the fender re-enforcement bar.
