How to Clean Jeep Liberty Seats

Stains, dirt and dust accumulate on your vehicle's interior every day, and keeping the vehicle clean will not only help to maintain its value but also make for a more positive driving experience. The interior of your Jeep Liberty doesn't present any particular difficulties when cleaning it, and this job should take just under an hour to do correctly, with the proper tools, equipment and preparation.

Things You'll Need

  • Wet/dry vacuum
  • Upholstery brush
  • Spray upholstery cleaner
  • Vacuum out the inside of the Jeep, using the wet/dry vacuum, so that you get rid of any loose dirt or debris in the seats. This way, you won't be grinding dirt into the seats; you'll be scrubbing dirt out.

  • Spray the upholstery cleaner on the seat, choosing either the back rest or bottom portion to start. The upholstery cleaner will foam up on the panel. You don't need to soak the interior with the product; just cover it.

  • Scrub the upholstery cleaner using the upholstery brush. Put some elbow grease into this step: the more work you do, the cleaner you can make it.

  • Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for the remaining half of the seat.

  • Vacuum up any residual cleaner using the wet/dry vac. Then allow the Jeep to sit for at least two hours so that the upholstery dries completely.
