Changing the engine oil and oil filter is a maintenance task which needs to be done on a regular basis. Many people have the oil changed on their vehicle by taking it to a service center, but others wish to do it themselves. In order to change the oil filter, one has to know where it is mounted on the vehicle. Oil filters are not always easily visible. Such is the case with the oil filter on the Mazda Tribute V6.
