Audis are recognized for their luxurious and classy body designs. The rear of the Audi A4 and most Audi models have a bold shape, with stylish brake lights, also known as taillights. When the rear lights are cracked or broken they will need to be replaced with new ones. The rear brake lights can also be replaced with aftermarket ones in order to enhance the look and appeal of the Audi. The brake lights are fairly easy to replace and do not take much time to do.
Park the Audi on level ground.
Open the rear trunk of the Audi.
Remove the two screws located on each side of the inside of the trunk, using a Philips head screwdriver, in a counterclockwise motion, in order to slide out the rear taillights.
Detach the two clips found behind both taillights in order to disconnect the bulb wiring from the taillights, and then completely remove the taillights from the Audi. If the light bulbs need to be replaced, pull them out and insert new ones, from behind the taillights.
Repeat the steps in reverse in order to install the new taillights on the Audi.
