How to Reset the Service Minder on a 2007 Honda Ridgeline

Your 2007 Honda Ridgeline comes standard with a service minder system. This blinking light tells you when your truck needs an oil change or other maintenance work. According to the Ridgeline's user guide, the dealer is supposed to reset the minder after performing the service. However, you may need to reset it yourself if the dealer forget, or if you had someone other than the dealer perform the service.

  • Sit inside your Honda Ridgeline with the engine off. Turn your key to the notch labeled "On." This notch is also labeled "II."

  • Push the "Select" button on the instrument panel. Push it repeatedly until the odometer reads "Service."

  • Hold "Reset" on the instrument panel for about 10 seconds. The display will show "Maint. Reset." Next to it, you'll see "N" for "No."

  • Press "Select" to change the message from "N" to "Y" for "Yes."

  • Hold "Reset" for a few seconds. Release the button when the odometer blinks. The system is reset.
