Oldsmobile is a defunct car company shut down by General Motors in the early 2000s. However, you can still find parts and accessories for the cars. If you were part of an accident, fender bender or just bumped your car into something, your car may have received some paint damage. To determine the right paint color, you need to be able to read the Oldsmobile paint codes.
Locate the paint code on your car. The location is going to vary depending on the model. It will be either in the glove box, on the trunk lid, on the inside of the trunk over the right wheel, over the spare tire or on the jack compartment.
Go the website listed in the "Resources" section of this article. This site provides an accurate reading of any paint codes used on your car.
Click the model year your car was made. This will bring up a list of all the cars Oldsmobile made in the given year. Click on your model.
Look through the color codes on the left side of the page. The code you have either has a BC/CC, U or WA followed by a series of digits. On the website, WA is used in front of the numbers. Disregard this. If the site lists WA121A and your color code is BC121A it is the same code. The website uses WA throughout the site.
Look next to the color code. There is a color description detailing the appropriate color.
