How to Replace the Wiper Blades on a Ford Mustang

Whether it's softly misting or raining "cats and dogs," you must have a good set of windshield wiper blades to help you navigate through the adverse weather. If you own a Ford Mustang, then you're in luck. You can install them in just a few quick minutes and without the aid of any additional tools.

Things You'll Need

  • Replacement Ford Mustang wiper blades
  • Pull the wiper arm away from the Ford Mustang so that it is standing in the upright position. It locks into place.

  • Rotate the wiper blade at an angle so that the lock pin is exposed.

  • Press down on the lock pin and release the old wiper blade. Slide the old blade out and discard.

  • Slide the new Ford Mustang wiper blade in place so that the appropriate hole lines up with the lock pin.

  • Release the lock pin securing the new wiper blade into your Ford Mustang. Keep sliding until you hear the "click."

  • Repeat this process on the other wiper arm of your Ford Mustang car.

  • Test your windshield wiper blades by starting your car and spraying washer fluid on your windshield. Now you are ready to hit the open road.
