To keep your Nissan 350Z in optimal condition, service it on a regular basis. As a Nissan owner you are entitled to a free multi-point inspection any time you visit a Nissan dealer. Maintaining your vehicle often and properly documenting it enhances the value of your car, should you ever decide to sell it.
Check pressure in tires using a tire gauge. Add air if necessary. Make sure nuts on tire rims are secure.
Remove the oil dipstick and wipe clean with a paper towel. Reinsert dipstick all the way. Remove the dipstick once more to check oil level. If oil is at or below the L mark, you need to add more oil through the oil filler cap.
Twist cap off reservoir tank to remove. Check if engine coolant level is low. Refill to "Max" line if the fluid is below the "Min" line.
Drain and replace old oil and change the oil filter. If you need detailed instructions on changing your oil, read your operator's manual. This needs to be done every 3,750 miles.
Rotate the tires every 7,500 Miles.
Drive to a local mechanic to have a tune-up. The spark plugs will need to be replaced, as well as the air filter. They can also be bought at any auto parts store and are not difficult to replace yourself. The tires on a Nissan 350Z have a built-in tread wear indicator. Tires should be replaced when the wear indicator is visible.
