Chrysler Pacifica Maintenance Recommendations

The Chrysler Pacifica is a crossover vehicle first produced for the 2004 model year. This 4-door, 6-cylinder engine model was discontinued in the 2008 model year due to poor sales.

"A" and "B" Maintenance Schedules

  • This vehicle carries two separate maintenance schedules based on the usual driving conditions of the vehicle. If the vehicle is driven in extreme temperatures and conditions, stop and go driving, frequent short trips, extensive idling or being used as a service vehicle, the vehicle should follow the "B" service schedule. If the vehicle does not meet any of these criteria, the "A" service schedule should be followed. The majority of drivers will fall under the "B" schedule.

B Schedule

  • Tire pressure, battery, fluids and electronics should be checked monthly. Oil should be changed every three months or 3,000 miles, whichever is first. The oil filter, exhaust system, brake hoses, CV joints, and all fluids should be checked at each oil change. Tires should be rotated at every other oil change or 6,000 miles. Oil and windshield wiper solvent should be checked each time you stop for fuel.

A Schedule

  • When utilizing the A maintenance schedule, oil should be changed every 6,000 miles. Engine air cleaner should be inspected and changed if necessary at each oil change, along with CV joints, hoses and exhaust system. Brake pads should be inspected and replaced at 18,000 miles. Oil and wiper fluid should still be checked at each fuel fill-up, as per "B" schedule. Fluids should be checked monthly.
