The Honda Prelude's history spans back to its release in 1979, as a 72-horsepower sports coupe that was relatively agile for its class. The more performance-oriented Prelude Si debuted in 1985 with a peppy 2.0-liter engine, and by 1993, the Si's engine grew to 2.3-liters and cranked out 160 horsepower.
The firing order of the 1993 Prelude's 2.3-liter engine is 1-3-4-2 and the distributor rotates clockwise. From the passenger side to the driver side of the engine, the cylinders are numbered 4-3-2-1.
