Dynatrac Dynaloc Locking Hubs - Failsafe: DynalocHubs dynatrac Dynaloc Hubs kit Photo 8440434 The Dynaloc locking hubs come with everything you need to perform the swap. Dynatrac offers both 35- and 40-spline versions, and each and every part is made right here in the USA.

Dynatrac is one of the most trusted names in aftermarket drivetrain products. So when owner Jim McGean decided to reinvent the Dana 60 locking hub, he knew he had high standards to uphold. As such, Jim invested a considerable amount of resources in the project. After nearly two years of research and development, the Dynaloc was born. Not just another typical locking hub, the Dynaloc is built tough and designed to handle three times the torque of a regular Dana 60 hub. It also features a patent-pending fail-to-lock feature that won't leave you stranded in two-wheel drive should a hub ever break on the trail or during competition. We like them because they are super-easy to install, even simpler to operate, and they come backed by a 5-year guarantee against breakage. Take a look at how easy these stout new hubs are to install.

Step-by-step instructions are included that show exactly which part to install and when. The process took us less than 15 minutes per side using standard handtools. The robust internal gears that actually do the locking are made from heat-treated, chromoly steel. Once all the internals are assembled, you have to install a small bronze-colored circular snap ring to secure the parts to the stub shaft (see arrow).
