| 1995 Honda Del Sol Subwoofer Placement - Get Wired!
After deciding he wanted to add stereo components to his del Sol, Eric Lamarca still needed to worry about subwoofer placement. He had two routes to choose from if he was going to add some bass. He could have sacrificed leg room and had a box designed behind the seat or have a box built into the trunk. Tough choice, considering that sound waves will have a harder time traveling into the cab area if he located them in his trunk.
Eric came up with a solution: Design the subwoofers into the trunk with ports connecting to the passenger compartment. While this isn't ideal for a competition system, it works perfectly fine for a show car/daily driver. Working with limited space, this Honda shows that a two-seater can still have a great all-around stereo system with a little thought and well-planned components.
