Altimate Sound
Looking to gain a few horses out of your '02-05 Nissan Altima? Borla has a new, bolt-on method of gaining that kind of power. It's called an exhaust system and it is made from mandrel-bent stainless steel piping that is 2 1/4-inches in diameter. On the muffler is a rolled edge, angle-cut, 4-inch tip that gives off a very stylish look. If your Altima needs a little more grunt in performance and you want it to sound like it does, pick one of these up, they're guaranteed for a million miles.

Man Up With This Manifold
Here's more power for your EVO in the form of the GTSPEC EVO manifold. Made with SUS304 piping and flanges, this manifold is strong enough and designed well enough to put out 9 wheel hp and 7 lb-ft of torque when coupled with a turbo back. In turn, the power increase comes in earlier, giving you a broader and more usable power band. So if more power is desired with a simple part replacement, then this manifold can be a viable candidate.

Swaying Spheres
Endlinks are an important component to a swaybar, not only because they connect the bar to the suspension, but also because they play a roll in the way the car feels. Whiteline Automotive has released their new Spherical Bearing Endlink kit for the 350Z, RX-8, Lancer EVO, WRX and the S13 and S14 chassis' 240SX's. This kit can adjust and rotate to provide a better feel for the car and are made with a heavy duty bearing so that it is longer lasting. Replace those old endlinks and get swaying with these new spherical ones.

Tune In And Tune Out
With only a ten-minute commute to the office, I don't really get to listen to the radio in the car for very long. That kind of sucks because every song sounds better in the car. But for those with a long commute, the new EZ900HDS receiver from Kenwood would be a great investment. This new receiver is a step up in technology in that it has three different tuners in one. It can pick up AM/FM stations, HD Radio and Sirius Satellite radio, which means that there is a whole lot of music to listen to. Forget the CDs, you won't really need them if you subscribe to Sirius Satellite Radio, and with the crisp, clear reception you get with HD radio, I personally think the multitude of radio songs coming in will make you forget what it was like to fumble through CDs. Now, if only I worked about an hour away.

Tuning Is Everything
When modifying an engine, one of the most important factors in getting the most out of your modifications is tuning. AEM is introducing its Engine Management System (EMS) to the most recent Honda engine line-up. This new plug and play system is available for all of the '01-04 K-series engines (excluding the Element, TSX, and Accord) and the '01-04 D17A1 and A2 manual transmission engines. The system is offered in two different options: a stand-alone unit or a stand-alone unit with a built-in wideband UEGO air/fuel controller. Now those with newer Hondas can join in on the tuning fun with the tuning products that AEM has to offer.

Does Your Car Swing Both Ways?
Want a modification that will make other lambo-style door enthusiasts and maybe even some Lamborghini owners jealous? Showoff Inc. proudly presents WingDoors Mark I, the 90-degree vertical door conversion kit. This kit features hinges that make the doors open further than any other kit on the market and also provide easy installation. This kit will make your doors open far enough out to enable you to fit a refrigerator or even your mother-in-law in your small car. Whether or not those types of items will fit in the car when the doors are closed is another story. With this kit, your car will be the talk of the town; making those snotty Lamborghini drivers give your car a second look.

Back in Black
Complete the cool, dark look of your interior with the Black Limited EVC from HKS. It's basically the same thing as the previous EVC kPa Ver. 2, but it looks cooler. The main, and possibly only, difference is that it has a black foreground display and a white background, as opposed to the white foreground and black background on the previous unit. Now, not only will you be cool because you drive a turbo car, but you will have a boost controller that can keep up with the coolness factor as well.

Cool Fuel
I have personally never heard of fuel pumps dying out or breaking, but I'm sure it's a possibility. Anyway, in order to prevent this from happening, or at least to prolong the life of your fuel pump, BG has released the "heat sink." The heat sink is a nifty little device that you put in-loop with your fuel pump and in turn cools the fuel that goes into your engine. And we all know, the cooler your air, oil, and now fuel is, the better your engine will run.

Fueling Good
Living out in California sucks when it comes to fuel options. Not just because the price of a gallon of gas is about how much my car is worth, but also because the highest octane rating is 91. This makes it hard for some tuners out here to get the most out of their streetcar engines because it puts a limit on how much you can tune a car. To help remedy this problem (not just for Californians), VP Racing has their line of racing fuel. There are three different octane ratings available: 100, 101 and 103. Obviously, the higher the octane, the more boost or nitrous you can run, and the more power you can make out of a naturally aspirated application. Now California residents, and everyone else, can take comfort in the fact that finally, there is a type of fuel available that is worth taking a loan out to pay for.

For Your Viewing Pleasure
I am personally not a huge fan of buying DVD's. For me, they are just an unnecessary cost and accumulate space in my shoebox-sized apartment. Also, how many times can I watch the same movie over and over again? For those of you who like to watch movies over and over again, here is a new addition that you may want for your collection: the JDM Option Collector's Editions DVD's. JDM Option video magazine recently released a collector's box set of DVD's that are sure to impress you every time you watch them. The box set comes with 3 DVD's entitled "Drift Like Nomuken," "Midnight 200mph Blast," and "Legendary 300km/h+ Top Speed Trial at Yatabe." The first of the set follows along with D1 professional driver Nomura Ken as he teaches his sexy student, Verena Mei, how to drift like a pro. The second one is a documentary that features the underground race scene that includes 200mph runs at famous locations like Bonneville, Tomei, and the German Autobahn. The third disc shows the Yatabe Top Speed Trials, a test course used as a benchmark to test highest performance cars in the industry that are capable of reaching speeds of over 200mph. This set is sure to be a collector's item for racing fans; even I might buy it if I have room in my apartment.

Brace Yourself
Chassis bracing is always a great addition to any car. Helping your car handle better in the turns and corner faster can be more important than how powerful the engine is. The new lower subframe brace from M1 Development for the '02 and up Subaru Imprezas can help you achieve a stiffer chassis. This piece is lighter and stronger than the stock one and covers 12-points to ensure the most support. The brace helps the part of the subframe that the engine bolts up to and also supports the lower control arms. So brace up your Impreza and hit those corners!
