With individuality in mind, we set out to illustrate a few modifications to an '04 Dodge 3500 4x4 turbodiesel. Though the minor mods were performed on a Dodge Ram, they would be just as useful on another make or model. The BedRug by Wise Industries can be applied not only to other Dodge models but to Ford and Chevy versions as well
In addition to good looks, the BedRug offers bed protection for our Dodge Ram 3500. The bed of any pickup, especially anything used on a daily basis, tends to get scratched and banged up during the life of the truck. While this is standard fare for a work truck, scratches on the bed are every bit as unsightly as those on a fender. The BedRug covers the truck bed with a padded (and carpeted) surface to all but eliminate scratches to the bed. You'd really have to go out of your way to scratch the paint through the BedRug, but doing so would sacrifice the BedRug as well. Installation was simple and straightforward, requiring only an hour or so. The custom-molded carpet was secured in place using Velcro with adhesive backing. The finished product was so plush and comfortable, the bed of the Dodge Ram 3500 was more a place for the ultimate tailgate party than some place you toss a load of gravel.
