| The Fun Country is available in heights ranging from 31 to 37 inches for popular rim sizes. Dick Cepek incorporates three-ply sidewall construction into all tire sizes for maximum strength.
We mounted up a set on our Super Duty, which sees double duty as both a tow rig and a light-duty wheeling rig. It gets used on the freeway, in the dirt, and frequently in the snow. The wide lateral and offset tread grooves of the Dick Cepek Fun Country deliver excellent traction in these varied environments without the noise and poor ice traction traditionally associated with mud-terrain tires. Dick Cepek claims that the new tread design uses a computer-optimized pitch sequence to reduce noise and a revised compound that resists cuts and chips.
The bar was set pretty high when the tire experts at Dick Cepek sought to design a new Fun Country, but we would say that they hit the mark. This tire can do it all.
The new Dick Cepek Fun County blurs the line between an all-terrain and mud-terrain tire, with deep tread and a lot of biting edges but without the huge voids and noise of a tradition mud-terrain. While not a dedicated mud tire, the Dick Cepek Fun Country was able to pull the heavy Super Duty through shallow slop without issue. The 18.5/32-inch tread depth and staggered tread blocks provide excellent lateral stability. An all-terrain that thinks it is a mud-terrain is perfect for a Super Duty tow rig that thinks it is a trail rig.

| While the previous Fun Country, the F-C II, had a single groove running down the middle of the tread blocks, the new Fun Country breaks up the tread to cancel out noise and provide a more flexible carcass. The three-ply sidewalls feature the signature DC lugs for added bite in deep ruts. Notched shoulder edges and scalloped ribs maximize off-road traction and prevent lug tearing.
| Dick Cepek recommends running this tire size on a rim width between 8 and 10 inches, but we mounted the Fun Countrys on our factory 16x7 Ford rims. This caused the tires to crown, and we had to lower the tire pressure to 28 psi to get an even contact patch with no load in the bed. A wider rim would alleviate this issue.
| This Super Duty often has a trailer hooked up to the back of it, and the Load Range E Dick Cepek Fun County tires never exhibited any tire squirm or excessive heat we have encountered when towing with Load Range C tires.
| We were able to get the Fun Countrys to dig in the sand, but only in 2WD. Shifting to 4WD allowed us to keep moving forward. Even with the E load rating, we could get the tires to bulge on the heavy Super Duty at 15 psi.
| The original bias-ply Fun Country was one of the best tires we have ever run in deep snow. The generous siping and numerous voids of the new Fun Country contribute to excellent traction in the snow. For purely icy roads, the Dick Cepek Trail Country would be our first choice.
