Product Spotlight: K&N Air Intake for 2007 to 2008 GMC Sierra 2500/3500 and Chevy Silverado 2500/3500

Heavy-duty pickups need heavy-duty parts, and K&N Filters has produced a performance air-intake system for the hard-working diesel engines within the 2007-2008 GMC Sierra 2500/3500 and its nearly identical twin Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 of the same model years. The 1-ton trucks benefit greatly with K&N's performance intake systems, showing peak increases of 19.67-hp @ 2900 rpm to the wheels on dynamometer tests. kn Air Intake System chevy Silverado Engine Bay   |   kn Air Intake System chevy Silverado Engine Bay The performance air intake systems use a specially designed lid that goes on top of the heat shield to form a full air box. The K&N intake system removes the factory inlet tube and factory airbox, replacing the factory components with K&N's washable cone-shaped air filter and powder-coated steel heat shield to provide larger amounts of cooler air for immediate power increases. The factory MAF sensor bolts right on to the new intake system. The item number for this K&N performance air intake system is 63-3066, and the air filter is RC-5177. Total installation time should be less than 90 minutes with common tools. All truck applications for this air intake are listed below. 2008 GMC Sierra 3500 HD 6.6L V-8 DSL
