Auto Insurance Claims: Rejection of vehicle insurance claim, judgements, insurance claim

Question
I submitted a claim to an insurance company and during their validation I was informed that I have judgements on my name which I wasn't aware of at the time of the policy inception.  They've told me that they are currently investigating whether I took acceptance of these judgements as it could cause my claim to be rejected.  I had no knowledge of this.  Can a claim be rejected solely on this?
If this is so imperative, why are checks not done before they accept and receive my premiums.  When I asked this I was told that it is impossible to check all potential members at inception.

Please advise urgently

Answer
Hi Rochelle,

Unfortunately, I have no idea what you are talking about. There are many questions that come to mind, such as;

1) what are the judgenments for?

2) who placed the judgements?

3) are thay related to other accidents or this one?

4) are the judgements the result of a law suit angainst you?

Even with the answers to the above questions, I'm not sure I can help. It sounds more like you need to be speaking to an attorney. It's the specifics and details of the situation that will determine if anyone can provide any good advice.

I hope this helps
