Auto Insurance Claims: Uninsured, policy language, driving school

Question
If you could please respond ASAP I would greatly appreciate that, I currently got into an accident with my father's car which is insured but I am not. I also do not have a license because i am underage, 17 and chose not to go to driving school. What happens now?

Answer
If your father gave you permission to drive the vehicle, your father's policy will provide coverage.  If you did not have permission to drive, there may be a coverage question.  It will depend on the policy language.  The lack of a license does not impact insurance coverage for the accident.

However, the insurance company will probably exclude you from coverage for future claims, now that they know about you.
