Auto Insurance Claims: valuation of auto claim, total loss car

Question
hello ron,
my vehicle was totaled. other driver ticketed for "failure to yield right of way". third party insurer payed $6800 for car. medical specialities, soft tissue damage treated by chiropractor and d.o. were 6100 reduced to 4400 by claims adjuster with her first offer. she sited the "usual and customary charges" for the services. any comments as to the value of this claim.

Answer
Hello John,

As to the valuation on the totaled vehicle, if they used CCC, ADP, or a similar computerized appraisal, you probably got lowballed. The best info on the internet on how to handle the valuation as well as other side issues like loss of use, rental car, salvage retention by you, etc would be the eBook entitled "TOTAL LOSS AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE CLAIM ADVICE AND HELP - FOR CLAIMANTS" at UClaim.com http://www.uclaim.com/products.asp .

I'm not a liability injury expert, but as to the value of your injury claim, if the adjuster reduced your medical specials from 6100 to 4400, but failed to multiply it by three to four times, you got very low balled. Any loss of income from work? Expected future medical bills? I suggest the eBook at www.autoaccidentclaims.com .
