Auto Insurance Claims: Medical Bills, knee brace, medical bills

Hello,

Does the cost of medication and medical supplies (ie.knee brace) count towards medical bills?  

I had a knee injury as a result of a car accident and I needed a special knee brace.  The medication is also directly related to my accident.

Hi Daniel,

Yes. Any and all expenses related to the accident are part of your claim. This includes medical bills, prescriptions, braces, crutches, etc. You can even charge mileage for your trips to the doctor or therapy.
