Auto Insurance Claims: collision claim, stationary object, collision coverage

Question
I added a collision coverage to my current insurance premium yesterday and had collision with a stationary object at a parking lot this morning. Police was not called and there was no witnesses. What kind of evidences should I have to assure my insurance company that I am not frauding. Thanks

Answer
Unless there was a parking lot surveillance camera, there probably is not any other evidence to prove the time of the collision.  But if they inspected the car before the coverage was added, they know it was not damaged at that point.  It is their responsibility to prove fraud, so I would not worry about it.
