Auto Insurance Claims: Car Accident, police report, car accident

Question
I was in a 3-car accident in Indiana in Dec 07 and I am preparing to settle w/ State Farm. They were eager to settle my son's case (who was also in the car) and have already replaced my car. They have not at all contested their liability because their insured crossed a 2-lane street, hit me, and the guy behind her hit me. Now, I was unconscious and know nothing other than what the police report says. What I want to know is if I can access the statement from the other party's adjuster who was represented by Travelers. According to everything I have heard, I have no reason to think their Insured was involved, but they sent me  a letter saying they have investigated and found their insured had no responsibility. I want to know more about their investigation. Is that possible?

Answer
You are access whatever you and your attorney are willing to and able to convince a judge to order in the process of a suit.  On your own however, they are not legally obligated to share anything with you.  As long as you are willing to give up 33-50% of what is owed to you (including any bills) you can go through that process.
