Auto Insurance Claims: loss of wages, san francisco bay area, medical bills

Question
Hi Bennie... I was recently in an auto accident were a young lady ran a stop sign and t-boned me in my car... Her insurance company admitted They are 100% at fault... My question is My employer pays me cash money for my work, and I was not able to work for about 3 weeks.. since I was paid cash for my work does this mean I  cannot collect lost wages for my time I was unable to work?.

Answer
Hi Jim,
You are entitled to be compensated for your medical bills, documented lost wages and an additional amount for pain and suffering.
Even though you were paid in cash for your work, if your employer is willing to write a letter stating the amount of your wage losses, you will be able to recover based on the strength of that letter.
I hope this information has been of help.
Your feedback by rating my answer will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Bemmie
