Auto Insurance Claims: Past auto claim, auto claim, police case

Question
A friend of mine had a previous claim on her auto insurance from a past insurer come up when trying to buy insurance.  She doesn't belive the accident happened and is trying to dispute the claim.  She has the old insurance company claim # and policy number.  How can she investigate this to prove this was not an accident in which she was involved?

Answer
She would need to contact that insurance company and get the police case number.  Then she get get a copy of whatever accident report that they are referring to.  If she was not involved, she will need to contact Choicepoint, which is likely the reporting agency and put in a dispute.  I believe that it is www.choicepoint.com
Good luck to her!
