Auto Insurance Claims: please help, county vehicles, knowen

my car was hit last night by a county plow truck it was parked along side my dads house 49 inches from the white line there were 2 other vechiles in front of mine he hit it in the middle i have about 30 pics from different angles and measurements i haven't moved it yet he came back after twice stoped and looked at me then took off he didn't stop and the officer said it was not a hit and run because he said he didn't know he hit the car im no expert but there was know way he couldn't of knowen there was no damage to the front or rear end only the middle i was wonder what you advice is and if you think i would have a lawsuit aginst the county please help me i need you expertise thank so much for takeing your time to read this have a nice day

Hi Joshua,

There is no need at this point to consider a lawsuit. You need to call the county to file a claim.  They will have either their own department or an outside company that handles claims for county vehicles. Explain to them what happened. You may need to provide them with the pictures you took.  That should take care of it.
