Auto Insurance Claims: accident help, passs, deep shit

I don't really know where to post this...

I've been in a car accident yesterday. I was at the stop in front of my appartment complex waiting for the cars to clear, then this car was turn into my driveway so the driver let me pass, while i was turning left, he made his turn too, and then bam, this big truck slams into me. My car swerved around and then i stopped. we got out callled the cops, then waited. cop took his sweet time then came, and asked what happened we told him and he asked me to wait in my car, while he talked to the other driver, i called my sister an we stood there waiting for about 20 minutes while he talked to her, then he came and said ok here's your report . so we were like "that's it/' he sai ys . we asked him if he got their insurance and eveything he said yes. we got home then took the car to the mechanic. today insurance calls me and say they won't cover cuz i was at fault so her insurance and i had liabilty. i mean wtf? how could i've been at fault when she slammed into me while the guy was lettin me passs? and the cop wrote the report saying i didn't stop at the stop sign, i mean like he was there. he only listened to the other driver's sie for like 15 minutes. now i'm in deep shit. should i get a lawyer?

Unfortunately, if you were pulling from a driveway onto a main road making a left turn, the collision is almost always your fault.  You should never trust someone else to stop traffic for you to go.  I don't see that you would have much luck in this case convincing any one that you were not at fault.

You should put the claim on your insurance to get your vehicle repaired.
