Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 2004 RX330 AC passage side doesnot feeling cold, climate control unit, climate control system

Question
I have a 2004 RX330 just over 4 years (Just out of warranty, might cost a lot to fix it.. very sad.. only 4 years car) and the AC at the driver side does not feeling cold (Feeling like 80F) as before when I set to "LO" temp, but the passage side is very cold.
I tested couple times with the temperature set up.. no change until temp adjusted to 81F.
Then, press the dual control button, try both sides of temp control, same results, no change of air temp till 81F reach.

I have no idea what is the problems.
THe only thing happened recently was accidently forgot to shut the door for few days and the battery drain off.
Jump start the vehicle and tried few times to ignite the engine, guess the battery really drain off..empty

PLease helps

Answer
Corine,

I know your model of vehicle has a pretty complicated climate control system. Its hard to give you a useful answer but there might be something wrong with blend door motor that controls hot or cold air, the driver side switch might also be bad and not giving power to open/close for cold air, I know there a couple of temperature sensors that could be bad and giving the climate control unit a bad reading which would also not allow the blend door to open. Theres a couple of different things that could be wrong but it will have to be diagnosed to be sure of what is causing your problem.
