just wanted to let you know that I recharged the system over the weekend and it's working fine now.  Up until that point my wife wanted to get rid of the van!!!!  Tim

Outstanding. Glad to hear it. Hope I was of a little help then. But... not to be the downer... remember that if it leaked out, then you definately have a leak that you might want to have found and repaired, or you will end up doing the same thing again. On the same note.. if it takes a good long while to leak out again, (works until next summer) chances are the leak will be too small for most shops to find, so don't waste the money.
